How does your family spend the 4th of July?
Chances are you’re at a picnic or BBQ or at a special event ready to ooh & aah over the fireworks. Maybe you’re camping or on vacation somewhere far away.
Being a professional in the events industry means that we work when everyone else plays. And this means that I have worked most July 4th’s for the last 20+ years.

The best part, however, about being “family owned and operated” is that I still get to be with my family on July 4th!
Whether we are twisting balloons, face painting or clowning around, we still get to make memories together… not just on this holiday, but on most holidays!!!
I used to feel guilty that we were always working on those key dates, but then I realized that by choosing to stay in this career, my children have had two-stay-at-home-parents their entire lives! Yes… we have to work when we’d rather be playing, but we also get to play and be there at our kids’ crossroads the rest of the time!
This 4th of July, our family will be twisting balloons once again at the Minneapolis “Red, White & Boom” event at Father Hennepin Bluffs Park! We’ll twist… we’ll laugh… and when we’re finished, we’ll fade into the background and become one more family enjoying the best fireworks display in the Twin Cities!
