(You won’t need any supplies in this class… only a notebook.) (This class has also been named “Ballooning, Buffooning & Boundaries, when the convention planner wants me to spend more time on balloon bits & shtick. Likewise, this class can also be divided into two, when time is limited).

This class will demonstrate some short, simple balloon and face painting oriented comedy routines which will get ’em giggling and make magical memories! This “Intro to being an Agent” class will cover the basics on scouting talent, cultivating relationships, contract basics, pricing, and the pros & cons of allowing your friends and colleagues represent you and your company as an agent.

Being able to handle any situation thrown at you is a skill that all family entertainers should have! Improvisation is the key to developing those skills! In this beginning improv class, participants will interactively explore the 6 rules of improvisation, while tickling their own and each others’ funny bones!

 

 

Making the Message Meaningful for Munchkins

Have you ever been asked to teach or preach as a part of your class presentation? MMMM explores how to layer learning on top of laughter, using the routines and props we already know and love. Ideal for family entertainers who perform in educational or faith-based settings.

 

Make ‘Em Laugh

This interactive session will show you the secrets to physical comedy! Actions, reactions, clown combat, and the ability to injure yourself or each other without actually getting hurt are “must haves” for any children’s entertainer! Please bring your sense of humor and a willingness to play. (This is NOT a lecture).

 

Defying Gravity 101

Throw things! Catch Things! Come and learn the basics of JUGGLING. Give both your right brain and left brain a workout by learning the basics of juggling one, two, even three objects at the same time! You will juggle by the end of the class – GUARANTEED!

*Note* This is a class designed for the person who has said “I tried it once, and it didn’t work”. If you can already juggle, don’t take this class.

 

Handling Hecklers and Diffusing the Fear

It’s a myth. All the world does NOT love a Clown, and no one knows this better than we do! This class explores the issues and horror stories we all share, along with tips & tricks to prevent hecklers from ever rearing their ugly heads in the first place, as well as tools to deal with them when they make you their target. We’ll also handle solutions for dealing with youngsters (and their parents) around the subject of “scary clowns”.

 

Clowning Around with Money

This is a class on keeping and growing the precious money you make. This class is for people who are ready to have a breakthrough with money by learning to eliminate all debt (including your mortgage) in 5-7 years, and how to build a future based on joy instead of fear, so that you can keep on entertaining.
